Ricardo Tsai Jui Chen is a multimedia artist specializing in oil painting, ink painting, and Chinese calligraphy. His work blends tradition with contemporary expression, resulting in a unique style that holds an important place in Taiwan’s art scene.

With nearly thirty years of teaching experience, he has cultivated numerous artistic talents at Huafan University, where he also served as Chair and Director of the Graduate Institute of Fine Arts and Creative Design. His academic influence extends internationally, having been invited to lecture at universities in Taiwan, Spain, and China.

Beyond education, Ricardo Tsai worked as an assistant researcher in the Exhibition Department of the Kaohsiung Museum of Fine Arts and has frequently been invited to serve as a juror for art competitions, evaluating oil painting, calligraphy, printmaking, and mixed media. In addition, he has run his own art studio for over ten years, guiding students to discover both the joy of creation and the refinement of technique.

His works have been featured in nine solo exhibitions in Taiwan and Spain, along with participation in more than 140 international group exhibitions. Combining creation, teaching, and research, Ricardo Tsai continues to explore diverse forms of artistic expression and shares his passion for art with audiences around the world.
